NEW’S YEAR RESOLUTION RACQUETBALL TOURNAMENT at CAMP ARIFJAN, KUWAIT
RESULTS: New Year's Resolution Racquetball Tourney
“What a turn out we have for this!”, from MSG Dan Nagle, the primary coordinator of another SUCCESS story from those deployed overseas….. Camp Airfjan, Kuwait is the beginning site of MRF’s 2010 calendar year for sanctioning an international combined Armed Forces racquetball tournament .... A total of 71 players will play over 120 matches throughout the tournament(14 -20 January, 2010).
This has truly turned into a joint event consisting of players from all 4 branches (Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines), along with DoD Civilians, Contractors and even local nationals making this a true international event.
“I can’t thank you guys at MRF enough for your support and everyone here appreciates it!”, states MSG Nagle. He continues on to say that the court stickers look great and will remain permanent fixtures on the courts as the Fitness Center manager was very impressed with how well they look on the courts.
Thanks again guys, you are the best!

2009 Halloween Havoc Tourney Our first international tournament took place over the Halloween weekend at Camp Arifjan, ARCENT (Army Central Command) Kuwait, where nearly 20 some racquetball players event this military tournament. Camp Arifjan is a vital logistic Army post, where nearly 90% of all logisitic supplies and armament go in and out of Iraq. Great Job guys!! |
