It was a somewhat small event with roughly 15 players in a double elimination format (two games to nine and a tie-breaker to seven) to be played on four courts. It was a Men's and Women's open tournament, so all level of players were welcome.
It kicked off around 1730 and the finals were played around 2130. In the Men's finals it was Derek Cooper DEF Rod Sharrar in two games to win the match and the tournament. Maria Gavin was the only female to come out, so she battled with the men and was awarded with her 1st place accomplishment.
